Playing with his Paci part 1
Happy 1 month birthday to my beautiful son Beckett Jude! Mommy loves you!
Beckett being held for the first time in 3 weeks! — with Leah ‘Whiteley’ Rupp at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.
UPDATE (1/23/13)
EX-TU-BATED
Though he still has a feeding tube going down his nose, a small drainage tube going down his throat, and now a nasal cannula….he is currently successfully Extubated! With that being said, there is still about a 12 hr ‘window’ in which he is being closely monitored. It isn’t uncommon to have to REintubate him….but for now: YAY!!! 🙂
As of today it has been three weeks since I’ve held my son. Tonight I was blessed to once again hold Beckett in my arms. God is so good!! — with Jonathan Rupp at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.

Ten months ago I was blessed with the news I was going to be a mother. Four months ago I was blessed with the news I was going to have a son. December 28, 2012 I was blessed to welcome my son into my arms. For the last 16 days I have been blessed to watch Beckett fight valiantly for his life. God has blessed me more times than I can count since then but He has literally given Beckett’s life back to me five times in the last 16 days. I never thought I could love so deeply. God continues to bless me through Beckett by teaching me to be a better mother. I am so grateful for this process. Thank you God for the gift of such a beautifully special son, and the honor and privilege you have given me by allowing me to be his mother. To God be the glory! — with Jonathan Rupp at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.
